Give each day of Advent one small thing to do together. These 24 activity cards run from December 1 to Christmas Eve and mix three kinds of days: faith days for prayer and the feasts, kindness days for doing good to others, and family days that are simply time together.

The activities follow the Catholic calendar for Advent 2026: shoes by the door on St. Nicholas Eve, Mass on the Immaculate Conception, flowers for Our Lady of Guadalupe, a candlelit breakfast for Gaudete Sunday and St. Lucy, the O Antiphons hymn on December 17, and Confession before Christmas. Most take ten minutes to an hour and cost nothing.

You get the printable cards with six blanks for your own traditions, a one-page Advent calendar to tick off, and a kindness log to read aloud on Christmas Eve. There is also an editable Google Doc version of the cards, so you can rewrite any activity and print your own set.

Print the cards, on card stock if you can, and cut along the dashed lines. Tuck one into each day of your Advent calendar or a jar, and open one each morning from December 1. To change a card, click Make my copy on the Google Doc version, replace the [brackets] and print.
