This policy explains what JLD Designs Co., LLC collects through this website and how we use it.

What we collect

• What you give us: your name, business name, email, phone number, shipping address, need-by date, notes, the options you choose, files you upload (logos, artwork, photos) and messages on your request page.
• Saved in your own browser: your quote list, contact details and brand kit are saved on your device so they’re there when you come back. Your uploaded files are kept there too, so they’re still attached if you reload the page. They aren’t sent to us until you send a request. You can remove them by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
• Basic technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider may log your IP address and browser type for security and to keep the site running. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
• Visitor counts and error reports: we keep simple daily totals of visits (for example, how many people came from Facebook or Google, and whether they used a phone or computer), and the site reports an error to us if a page breaks. We also count which pages are opened and which main buttons are tapped or files uploaded (for example, “Start a quote” or “logo uploaded”), as daily totals with no personal data. These don’t include your name, email or IP address.
• Ratings: if you rate a completed order, we keep your stars and comment. We only share a rating publicly if you tick the box that says it’s OK, and then only with your first name.

How we use it

To prepare your quote and design proof, make and ship your order, talk with you about it, keep business and tax records, and prevent fraud. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t send marketing emails unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

Only what’s needed to run our business:

• Google, which stores our quote requests, files and email.
• Our production partners, who receive your design files and order details to make your products.
• Shipping carriers, who receive your name, address and phone number to deliver your order.
• Our website host, and a code library service (cdnjs) that delivers a viewer for PDF previews.
• Cloudflare, which runs the quick robot check before a request, upload or checkout is sent. It sees your browser’s connection details for that check, not what you typed.
• A ZIP code lookup service (Zippopotam.us), which receives only the ZIP code you type so we can fill in your city.
• Stripe, which processes card payments on its secure checkout page, and payment apps such as Venmo or Zelle if you pay with one. We never see or store your full card or bank account number.
• Authorities, if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Your saved designs and brand kit (the approved design, your logo file and colors, so you can order the same thing again) are deleted automatically 12 months after your last order. The files you upload with an order are deleted 90 days after it’s delivered. You can delete your saved designs anytime from your account page, or ask us to delete your files sooner. We keep order records and invoices for as long as we need them for business, tax and legal purposes, typically up to 7 years.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we have about you. Contact us and we’ll respond within 30 days.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information. Your request page link is private, so please don’t share it.

Children

This website isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we update this policy, we’ll change the effective date above.
